【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestherequirementsfordecorative,electroplatednickelpluschromium,andcopperplusnickelpluschromiumcoatingsoniron,steel,zincalloys,copperandcopperalloys,andaluminiumandaluminiumalloystoprovideanattractiveappearanceandenhancedcorrosionresistance.Coatingdesignationsarespecifiedthatdifferinthicknessandtype,andguidanceisgiveninselectingthecoatingdesignationappropriatetotheserviceconditionstowhichthecoatedproductwillbeexposed.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotspecifythesurfaceconditionrequiredbythebasemetalpriortothecoatingprocess,andisnotapplicabletocoatingsonsheet,striporwireinthenon-fabricatedformnortothreadedfastenersorcoilsprings.Requirementsfordecorative,electroplatedcopperplusnickelpluschromiumcoatingsonplasticmaterialsarespecifiedinISO4525.Similarcoatings,exceptfortheabsenceofatop-coatofchromium,arespecifiedinISO1458.ISO4526andISO6158specifyrequirementsforcoatingsofnickelandchromium,respectively,forengineeringpurposes.
