【摘要】:Moldedorextrudedrubberproductsmustwithstandtheeffectsofozonecrackingandoutdoorweatheringforsatisfactoryuse.Thistestenablesasimplecomparisonofperformancetobemadeunderspecifiedtestconditions,eitherinalaboratorytestchamberorinanoutdoortest.Nodirectcorrelationbetweentestperformanceandserviceperformancecanbeclaimedduetothewiderangeofserviceconditions.1.1Thistestmethodpermitstheestimationoftherelativeabilityofrubbercompoundsusedforapplicationsrequiringresistancetooutdoorweatheringorozonechambertesting.1.2Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletomaterialsordinarilyclassedashardrubber,butisadaptabletomoldedorextrudedsoftrubbermaterialsandspongerubberforuseinwindowweatherstrippingaswellassimilarautomotiveapplications.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecifichazardstatement,seeNote1and8.1.Note18212;Warningx2014;Ozoneisahazardouschemical.
