【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofcalcium,chlorine,copper,magnesium,phosphorus,sulfur,andzincinunusedlubricatingoils,additives,andadditivepackagesbywavelengthdispersiveX-rayfluorescencespectrometry.Matrixeffectsarehandledwithmathematicalcorrections.Foreachelement,theupperlimitoftheconcentrationrangecoveredbythistestmethodisdefinedbythehighestconcentrationlistedin.Samplescontaininghigherconcentrationscanbeanalyzedfollowingdilution.Foreachelement,thelowerlimitoftheconcentrationrangecoveredbythistestmethodcanbeestimatedbythelimitofdetection(LOD)(seealso40CFR136AppendixB)orlimitofquantification(LOQ),bothofwhichcanbeestimatedfromSr,therepeatabilitystandarddeviation.LODandLOQvalues,determinedfromresultsobtainedintheinterlaboratorystudyonprecision,arelistedin.LODandLOQarenotintrinsicconstantsofthistestmethod.LODandLOQdependupontheprecisionattainablebyalaboratorywhenusingthistestmethod.Thistestmethodusesregressionsoftwaretodeterminecalibrationparameters,whichcanincludeinfluencecoefficients(thatis,interelementeffectcoefficients)(GuideE1361),hereinreferencedasalphas.Alphascanalsobedeterminedfromtheoryusingrelevantsoftware.SetupofthistestmethodisintendedforpersonstrainedinthepracticeofX-rayspectrometry.Followingsetup,thistestmethodcanbeusedroutinely.ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorangstromunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
