【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoverstheautomaticdeterminationofcolorofawidevarietyofpetroleumproductssuchasundyedmotorandaviationgasoline,aviationturbinefuels,naphthas,kerosine,pharmaceuticalwhiteoils,dieselfueloils,heatingoils,andlubricatingoilsbytheautomatictristimulusmethod.ThistestmethodcorrelatestoTestMethodD156andTestMethodD1500ascalculatedbytheinstrumentation.Note1-Withtheappropriatesamplehandling,thistestmethodwouldapplytopetroleumwaxes,buttheywerenotusedintheroundrobin,andtheprecisionofthistestmethodwithregardtowaxesisunknown.ThistestmethodreportsresultsintermsofTestMethodD156orTestMethodD1500.Thistestmethodhasaone-to-onecorrelationfortheentirerangeofTestMethodD1500ASTMColorandfortherangefrom0to+30forTestMethodD156Sayboltcolor.Thistestmethoddoesnotapplytosolidsamples,petroleumproductscontainingdye,andpetroleumproductshavingextremefluorescence.Thistestmethoddoesnotapplytocloudysamples.Suchsamplesshallbefilteredsotheyareclearbeforemeasuring.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
